DESIGN SHOW LIVERPOOL 19-22 June 2008

At this exciting capital of culture event I will be showing several new collections, a particular feature will be my city series panels.

The Design Show Liverpool is set to become an important event in the international design calendar. It will be a unique opportunity for the public to browse and buy from over 150 selected designers, who represent the best in regional, national and international design and contemporary fashion. Open to the public, trade buyers and collectors, visitors will be able to see a fantastic range of innovative work, commission unique pieces for indoors and outdoors, and shop for functional items with a twist – from furniture, glass, ceramics, lighting and eco-design to garden products, clothing, jewellery and fashion accessories. "Inspiration"
Design Initiative @ The Bleach House Gallery, Cumbria
3 June to 19 July 2008.

This exhibition is to show, by means of exhibits from a range of Design Initiative members, the influences behind producing a piece of work.

My theme for this show is developed from the current fabric collection at Bleach House, and additionally the pieces for this exhibition also take influence from one of my early collections of paisley inspired jewels - I will be displaying a co-ordinated selection of jewels, bowls and panels.

I am a selected artist in the MJMAN satellite exhibition " 8 for 08 " which is on display at FACT Liverpool, commencing on the 20th of September.The exhibition coincides with the Liverpool Biennial and is a showcase of just eight selected pieces from eight makers.

The display promotes the forthcoming MJMAN Sparkle08 show in December.
